The problem
This Bronx building needed a completely new sidewalk and curb along its frontage, including the corner.
What we did
- Broke out and removed the old sidewalk with a skid steer
- Set a gravel base, with joint filler along the building line
- Laid wire mesh reinforcement
- Poured and finished new concrete sidewalk flags
- Built the corner pedestrian ramps with red detectable warning pads
- Installed the new curb
The result
A continuous new sidewalk and curb along the whole frontage, with accessible corner ramps.
